Trust Inno Sense Ported 2.5 Ring Gag
The Trust Inno Sense Ported 2.5 Ring Gag is made using Trust Equestrian’s synthetic soft material. The top ring is connected to the cheek pieces, which, when pressure is applied, causes the horse’s head to lower. Conversely, the half-ring provides leverage that results in the head being raised. The combination of these actions creates a gag effect.
The 2.5 ring is a softer form of a 3 ring gag because the half-ring mitigates the leverage exerted on the mouthpiece.This is slightly harder than the original flexi soft range of horse bits but softer than the hard version.
This particular mouthpiece uses a port that creates space and therefore allows for decreased pressure on the horses tongue. We hold in stock the Medium port which has a degree of flex in its shape. It is not solid like a hard bit and over the years has proven to be more popular than the harder mouthpiece.
The synthetic ported mouthpiece is ergonomically shaped to allow space for the horse’s tongue, and is available in Medium or Hard densities.
