Cashel has been producing equine protection products in the USA since 1986. The brand is best known for its Crusader fly masks, which offer excellent coverage and a comfortable fit across a wide range of sizes.

Crusader Fly Masks

The Cashel Crusader range provides fly protection with a fine mesh that blocks flies, midges and UV rays while allowing clear vision. The masks are available in four styles: standard, with ears, with nose coverage, or with both ears and nose. Sizing runs from foal through to draft horse, including options for donkeys.

Riding Fly Protection

The Cashel Quiet Ride range is designed to be worn while working. The Quiet Ride fly mask fits securely under a bridle without interfering with the bit or restricting the horse’s sight line. For full body coverage, the Quiet Ride Bug Armour uses soft mesh to shield the neck and body from biting insects during hacks and schooling.

Fit and Sizing

Cashel masks feature a dart construction that follows the shape of the horse’s face, keeping the mesh clear of the eyes. The reinforced edges sit comfortably around the ears and cheekbones without rubbing. With eight sizes available, most horses can be fitted accurately.
