The cavesson noseband’s front is crafted from three strands of waxed, twisted rope, encased in supple leather.
This rope noseband offers more control over a stronger horse than a standard cavesson, while the leather covering prevents rubbing on the horse’s nose.
It is important to note that this noseband should be used for brief periods and not be overly tight. A proper fit allows two fingers to be placed between the noseband and the horse’s nose.
The Dy’on New English Collection Leather Covered Rope Noseband Bridle features an S-shaped anatomical headpiece with a pronounced curve, positioning the browband lower than previous designs. Consequently, the bridle avoids the horse’s ears’ base—one of the head’s most sensitive areas—reducing pressure and enhancing suitability for modern sport horses.
The browband has a subtle square-raised design and sports a steel ‘D’ logo on the left side.
