Bombers Bit Elliptical Loose Ring

The Bombers Bit Elliptical Loose Ring allows for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure. The bit is immediately reset to a neutral position in the horse’s mouth.

The Elliptical is a 45 mm lozenge, it is stronger than the Control Plate due to it having a smaller surface area. Consequently, a horse using his tongue as a means of pushing against the bit and therefore taking control, will draw back and tuck his chin in, coming back to a better point of control.

Please note appearances may be deceiving, this bit joint is stronger than the Control Plate as pressure is more concentrated on the tongue.

The Bombers Bits are made from blue sweet iron, which oxidizes easily and encourages salivation. This helps bit acceptance due to the warm and sweet taste to the horse.

Standard sizes usually in stock are available in 12.5cm, 13.5cm, 14cm, 14.5cm or 15cm. Other sizes are available to pre-order.
